are the proud parents of
5 beautifully,
healthy babies.
4 boys and one
lone girl were
born in the late
afternoon on
Wednesday
September, 24,
2008.
Both momma
Belle and poppa
Yerik are first
time parents.
I am excited to
see how the
kittens grow and
develop.
Yerik was
phenomenal as a
first time sire,
and has proven
to be nicely
prepotent, and a
wonderful asset
to my cattery.
He is an
extremely sweet
and gentle
giant.
Belle, from
the beginning of
her pregnancy,
to the delivery,
and now on to
the caring of
her kittens, has
proven to be an
awesome momma.
Her delivery was
lengthened by
the fact that 3
of the kittens
were breech,
which is much
more difficult
for the momma
kitty.
But I was there
with her
throughout the
delivery and
helped aid these
little ones into
the world.

Litter
8 - Norse Babies,
continued!
Well...I had
picked out names
for our babies,
and wanted to
stay along the
the Norse
mythology theme.
But...since
Chris got to
pick out names
for the boys
from last year
(Litter
7),
Hannah was quite
disappointed
that she didn't
get to help name
the
kittens...SO...we
are renaming
them. We
did stay with
Norwegian names,
but they are not
the original
names I had
picked out!

In case you are curious about the kitten
wall I refer to in my captions, I thought I would show a photo of it.
It's 6 feet high and 8 feet wide with various ramps, ledges and tunnels.
The kittens love it and it is extremely interactive for them, which is very
important to me. Now that they are older, I hang fleece strips with
toys tied to the ends to give them a bit more interaction.
I'm so thankful for it, a previous kitten
adopter, whom I have become quite good friends with commissioned her
step-dad to make this for me!

Kisatru Aksel
Adopted - being spoiled in a loving home in
Parker, CO!!
Male. Brown mac-tabby with white.
White inverted V on face, white mittens on front feet, one full boot on left
hind leg, white mitten with partial sock on right hind foot.

Aksel, at 6 weeks of age is quite photogenic,
LOVES having his picture taken, and is extremely flashy! I would LOVE to
see this guy as a show cat...I think he would have what it takes to schmooze the
judges!! Such a sweetie pie. He's always one of the first to greet
me w hen I go into the kitten room.

Kisatru Gunnar
Adopted - living
in Illinois with
a wonderful
family, and a
Sphynx cat named
Potter!
Male.
Brown mac-tabby
with no white.
Looks like a
Yerik clone!

Gunnar at
just 4 months,
adjusting to his
new home, and
his new friend,
Sphynx cat
'Potter'.
I think Potter
is going to be
taking advantage
of Gunnar's coat
in the winter
time!!
Jens is in his
forever home in Stamford, CT with his Julie-mom and some Golden
Retrievers!
Male.
Brown mac-tabby with no white. Another! Yerik clone!
Jens at 6 weeks old, he has
discovered the kitten wall and LOVES IT!! He has an extremely
sweet personality. He's usually romping around my feet so has
been a bit difficult to take pictures of, but this week, he decided
to do some exploring.
Adopted -
Chester
has gone to live
in Ohio with his
Rita-mom!
Male.
Brown mac-tabby with white. Inverted V on face, mittens on
both front feet, full boots on both hind feet.
Chester
, or Chet, loves, loves,
loves to play!! He plays with his toys and his siblings so
nicely. I really enjoy laying in the kitten room just watching
all of them interacting with each other and learning to be big
kitties! At 6 weeks of age, Mik is developing quite nicely.
Kisatru Lil'Brynn Yavanna
Female.
Brown classic no white.
Available to an
approved home!
Brynn at 6 weeks old is simply
SCRUMPTIOUS!!! She is a sweet little girl, but tough as nails.
The smallest at birth, she is now the 2nd heaviest in the litter.
Developing an incredible kitten coat, sweet disposition, very
playful, I just cannot say enough about her.
