Our Neuters

"Jonah"

D.O.B. April 15, 2000

Jonah is a VERY special boy to us...he came to us at a mere 7 weeks of age, having

been deprived of his mother's milk, as it had dried up.  He was a birthday present to our

daughter, Hannah, when she was only 7 years old.  He was born in a barn, to a kitty that belonged

to some friends of ours.  His momma was a mouser and did her job very well!!  He was so very tiny when we got him, and we had to supplement him with kitten milk replacer for a few weeks while we introduced

him to kitten gruel.  When he was only with us for a few days, he thought he would try to climb on my

bed, and slipped in the process, catching his tiny foot in the blankets and snapping his tiny leg.

I rushed him to the emergency animal clinic (where I ended up working a few years later!).  We x-rayed his left hind leg, and found a green stick fracture on the femur.  Well...what do you do with such a tiny leg???

We splinted it the best we could and kept him as immobile as possible.  His leg healed up nicely, and he doesn't have a whole lot of problems with it.  There are times when he has trouble jumping, but it doesn't seem to hinder him too much.

Deja'Vu and he have a VERY special relationship...he is a definite wegie-wanna be.  He is a snuggle-bunny and if you let him, he will style your hair!

Vanir Phantom Odin of Kisatru

Brown Classic Tabby with White

Pedigree

Vanir Phantom Odin of Kisatru is just  a youngster, but will develop into quite the impressive guy.  He is out of a male that I saw at a cat show back in March of 2004, Incantato Aragorn of Vanir.  WOW!  What a hunk of a boy he is.  My husband absolutely fell in love with Aragorn at first sight, and Cheryl knew it.  SO…when this little guy was born, she called me right away, and told me about him, and we were excited about bringing this guy home!  She sent me pictures, and I fell totally in love with him!  Nathan did not need any convincing, as any kitten out of Aragorn, in his eyes was pretty special.  I got regular updates on his goofy antics, and his personality.  Well, I can say that Cheryl’s updates, descriptions, and pictures did not prepare me for what I would see in the fur.  This boy is massive!!  His boning is excellent, his markings are incredible, and I adore his face.  His personality is to die for!  He gives head butts regularly, and does the Wegie flop for belly rubs.  Odin has been neutered so that he can live out his life as a spoiled rotten pet kitty with his bestest buddy Yerik.   Love, hugs, and purrs to Cheryl McConnell of Vanir cattery for having entrusted me with another of her adorable babies!!!
