Lil'Venie
Vu, as this
little
sweetheart is
affectionately
called at our
home, is a
little love
baby! I
saw her sister,
from a previous
breeding of
Vanir Blue Skky
and Vanir
Martina, Vanir
Venus at a show
here in Colorado
and fell
absolutely in
love with her.
Well, Cheryl
McConnell, of
Vanir Cattery,
knew how much I
adored her
Venus, and when
Lil'Venie was
born, she let me
know right away.
Things were a
little tough at
this time, but
God must have
known how much
Lil'Venie and I
needed each
other, as this
little darlin'
came to live
with us in
December 2004.
Venie is very
much in tune
with my emotions
and is a true
comfort to me
when I am in
need! She
has been a
wonderful
addition to our
family, and my
breeding
program, and has
brought much joy
to us!
I named her
Lil'Bit'
O'Venus, as she
is the spitting
image of Vanir
Venus.
Much love, hugs
and purrs to
Cheryl McConnell
for entrusting
our family with
this little gem!

This lil' darlin' was born right here
at our cattery. Belle was one of the kittens born during Christmas 2006.
She is a clone of her poppa if I ever saw one...her daddy Ouijakatz Tristan,
shown below.

My dear friend
Barbara Midura,
of Ouijakatz
Cattery, was
kind and
generous enough
to allow this
hunk of a boy to
come visit us
and sire 2
litters. I
just knew, after
meeting him,
that one of his
'kids' would
have to stay and
be part of our
family.
Well...little
Belle managed to
wind her way
around my
heartstrings.
She is daughter
to our Venie,
and they keep
each other
company and are
extremely sweet
together.
When she gets
all of her
required DNA
testing and HCM
screening
completed, will
become part of
our breeding
program.
First, though,
she will go back
out into the
show world and
see how she
likes things
there.
Keep an eye open
on our plans, as
she is a lovely
addition to my
breeding program
as well as an
important part
of our family.
Thank you Barb
for allowing
this beautiful
girl to be part
of my life!!

Yerik
is from the first litter born here at Kisatru. He is a
magnificent boy, with awesome type, boning and personality. At
8 months he is topping out the scale at 10 lbs. He was the
most outgoing of the babies from birth. My mother and father
in law (who are basically a mom and dad to me!) will be keeping him,
and since we live so close to them, we will be seeing a lot of this
sweet guy. His first winter coat is pretty amazing, so long
and thick. I am pretty proud of this little (big!) guy.
I am anxious to get him out in the show hall again. As a
kitten he took to the show hall very nicely, and even though he was
competing against his brother
Tyr, who
really impressed
the judges, he
was very content
to be at the
show. My
plans for him
are to take him
out in January
2006 to get his
winner's
ribbons, then
proceed to Grand
him. To
mom and dad (or
grandma and
grandpa) though,
he is just a
very wonderful
snuggle bug.
He sits with mom
when she does
her Bible study
in her favorite
chair, as she
always leaves a
space along side
of her for him
to lay. He
is commonly seen
eating breakfast
at the back
kitchen table
with dad, and
helps himself
whenever he can.
His other
pastimes are
sitting at the
windows watching
cars, birds,
squirrels, etc.
He also adores
his
pseudo-brother
Odin, and loves
to play and
snuggle with
him. Yerik
is not neutered
at this time,
we may have
plans to use him
as a stud in the
future!!

Murphy, also
affectionately
referred to as
Murph-Meister,
Poppa Murphy,
and Murph-Man at
our home, is my
soul cat.
He came to us
from Cheryl
McConnell of
Vanir Cattery,
and he has wound
his little furry
body around my
heartstrings.
He has the most
soulful eyes and
draws you into
himself.
Murphy is most
definitely MY
cat. He
will only
snuggle with me,
but he does go
to other family
members for
love, hugs and
kisses.
I was in need of
a male, and he
has fit the
bill. I
watched this guy
from the time he
was born, and he
is everything I
was hoping for!
He has excellent
boning and
structure, has
dreamy eyes, a
delicious coat,
nice straight
profile,
extremely strong
chin and for the
icing on the
cake...has a
fabulous
purrsonality.
He is constantly
purring, and
what a little
chatterbox he
is!
I cannot thank
Cheryl enough
for allowing
this boy to
grace our home.
She let me come
visit for the
weekend when I
picked up my new
baby boy, and I
got to see her
gorgeous home
and wonderful
cattery, with
all of her
beautiful cats.
Would I ever
love to be a cat
in her home!!
THANK YOU AGAIN
CHERYL!!!
We are just
delighted with
this little man!
Love, hugs and
purrs!
